About the Journal

SCIENTIA UNIVERSALIS is an international, interdisciplinary scientific journal published by SCIENTIA UNIVERSALIS ASBL. It welcomes original work in the humanities and social sciences, law, economics, health and life sciences, the exact and digital sciences, engineering and technology, and earth, environmental and resource sciences. Committed to scientific rigor, academic integrity, peer review, open access and interdisciplinary dialogue, the journal seeks to advance the international circulation of knowledge, with particular attention to research on Africa and perspectives from the Global South.

Open access and license. All articles are made freely and immediately available to the public, with no embargo period. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation provided proper attribution is given.

Scientific evaluation. Every admissible manuscript undergoes double-blind review by at least two independent specialists. Decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor and ethical compliance.

Editorial integrity. The journal applies rules concerning originality, authorship, conflicts of interest, research data, artificial intelligence, corrections and retractions. The full policy is available in the Ethics and Scientific Integrity section.

Editorial fees. No submission, review or publication fee is currently charged to authors. Any future change to this policy will be publicly announced prior to submission and will not apply retroactively.

Digital preservation. Published content is intended to be preserved over the long term through the journal's archiving and preservation mechanisms, including the LOCKSS network, as well as regular technical backups.

SCIENTIA UNIVERSALIS publishes research articles, theoretical and empirical studies, comparative analyses, research notes and scholarly reviews, in keeping with its motto: « Scientia sine finibus — Science without borders — Knowledge beyond boundaries ».

Publication information. SCIENTIA UNIVERSALIS is published by SCIENTIA UNIVERSALIS ASBL, headquartered at 8177, Boulevard du 30 Juin, Gombe, Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Founded in 2026, the journal is published quarterly, with four issues per year. It publishes primarily in French and also welcomes contributions in the other languages enabled on its platform. It is aimed at researchers, teachers, academics, practitioners, scientific institutions and policymakers interested in interdisciplinary research and contemporary transformations.
